Beverly D. Rowden, LMSW, began her journey as an assiduous advocate after her son, Dean, was diagnosed with autism at the age of four. Beverly is also the mother of Dr. Ashley Rowden-Schaub, another autism advocate. 


 

Beverly is the founder and president of “Connected Autism Parent Support Foundation”, a non-profit organization that provides educational, financial, and social support to parents and caregivers of children and adults on the autism spectrum. 


 

In her efforts to establish more inclusiveness, Beverly’s mission is to equip the autism community with knowledge, resources, and support, as she believes everyone has the right to live to their fullest potential.


 

Beverly received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Paul Quinn College and her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Beverly is a native Arkansan who has resided in Dallas, Texas, for over thirty years.
